My name is Alex.
I have a subaru 2004 sti with ppp. I ve been told that the car has a decat downpipe as well.
I want to know if there is a simple way for increasing my bhp to 365 to 370.

unlikely without a turbo change.
some vf35s may get you to around 360 if your lucky

as above, turbo's the weak link. problem is gonna be a big cost jump to get up due to turbo, going up to 400bhp would be a nice upgrade, sc42, injectors and a map will prob get you there.

 

get a 20g fitted and a remap and see what you get, probably be around the figure your aiming for

 

thats a lot of money and effort for 10 bhp

id just get a remap on it as it is now and you should see 350

 

only saying dan as i just had my bug sti mapped by andy f and it made 340 bhp with full decat and new fuel pump and ported headers. as you probably know thats about normal for a 35. 20 g should make around 380 no problem.

 

no offence intended,the op obviously doesnt know what sort of power the standard set up is capable of.

just an expensive route to go down for not a lot of bhp gain.

 

tell me about it lol. just spent a few bob to go from 300 to 340. i only suggested the 20g as i was going to go that route origionally but thought id see what the 35 would do first. kinda kicking myself now as i know im going to want a bit more once im used to the new power.

 

if i was the op and he wants a bit more than the 350 bhp the vf35 will offer id go for an sc42, obviously bigger injectors etc needed but he can then sell on the sti pinks and vf35.

 

yeah also a good route but he did say simple option and the 20g would make the power he,s after on the pinks probably. he might be lucky and have a 35 that wants to make good power. i seen one make 360 bhp at my last mapping session with andy but that was on a gb270 which is of course a 2.5 and the extra torque probably helped.
