i plan to take the engine out of my version6 sti , while its out what would be the options for having it refreshed , its got 110,000 miles on it and not been driven for the last few years

i dont plan to take it to over 450bhp it will be used on the road and maybe very occasional trackday ,

i dont care for driving at over 100mph

not sure what if any other information is needed other than costs

i'd like to have a 2.1stroker but thats more because it sounds good ,than any real performance advantage at the level im thinking of ever taking it to.

i'd need to way up costs versus advantages of all options
