Default Need advice on Auto WRX S-GT

Hi, nice to meet you all!

Recently i bought a 09 JDM WRX S-GT auto, and i'd like to change all fluids on the car but there are something i'm unsure and need your advice plz.

1. What auto fluid should i put in?

2. What front & rear diff fluid are use in the car? (75w/90 ? or auto fluid?)

I've been browsing on the net for long, but didn't see much info for the auto WRX S-GT

Thanks in advance
Steven

Thanks for your reply riiidaa.

It does not comes with the manual book. The car has 40000kms on the clocks as the pervious owner drive the car as weekend car.

I couldn't find much info on the net, maybe this model is sell in Japan only (I guess)

if my calculations are correct, at less than 25,855 miles on the ODO I suggest you don't need to change the diff oil yet

i've heard that your transmission is referred to as 5-EAT (NOT 100% sure)

my AUTO's have been previous generation and have been based on 4-EAT

what i'm saying is try researching based on that term and possibly the term sportshift using google, subaru Legacy, XV Forrester owners who have auto version may be able to offer you pointers in the right direction locally with regards to Subaru mechanics there who may be able to refer to Subaru Japan for recommended oil info for your specific model

there's one Subaru dealer in HK?

ALSO try hunting for a WRX-S or WRX-S GT owners manual on the HK ebay or similar site, it might cover both manual and auto transmission, sometimes these items get sold 2nd hand or as new old stock and could prove useful for basic maintenance

I had a WRX S-GT in manual, 2.0 twin scroll, the engine & auto version are the same as the JDM Legacy B.
It has a separate front diff containing 75/90 gear oil as per the manual version with the dipstick, the auto trans will have AQF trans fluid & a spin off filter on the l/h side of the trans, rear diff is 75/90 gear oil.
