Default More power suggestions please

Guys,

Looking to add a bit more power to my 96wrx wagon.
Car has td05 turbo, apexi induction kit, forge dump valve, Hayward and scot open mouth down pipe.
Sports car with SS exhaust system, and a larger rad. ( so car has no ac pump )
Looking for suggestions as to up the power to about 380/400 bhp.
Have a apexi ecu and yellow injectors to add to the stuff fitted.
But might get pink 550 injectors, just want to get parts needed.
Before I go for fitting and remap.
Thanks in advance.

You'll max out those injectors well before 380 afaik.

Mine, a forged 2.5 with an HSTD05 20g runs 740's.

I'd also look at an FMIC and a Harvey trick up-pipe, (AS Performance), for better boost at lower revs, (better scroll).

Thanks alcazar, that's why I was going to get pink ones.
What sort of power are you getting?

also factor in a turbo for that power level. a 20g or similar should get you there.

Haven't any exact figures on mine, don't believe in rolling road trets, the stress the car too much, it's how it drives.

Bob Rawle, who mapped it, estimated 400+/400+. I know the turbo made 427 on Harvey's 2.0L WRX wagon.

And gear box? It's torque kills a box, not power, and you won't get near mine's torque from a 2.0L, just don't dump the clutch too often

What would you say a safe power out put would be for a 5 speed?
My hawk is about 350/60, want similar power from the wagon.

Errrr, read my post above?

It's not power that kills a gearbox.

Damn 470! Must fly!
I just want a fast off the lights motor, if I got pulled by the cops.
And they found out what I do for a living, they would through the book at me.
And would probably lose my license!
We have unmarked evos' and scooby's in London.
When the cops first got their evo, I heard that they were actually trying to egg people on to race!
Then pulling them over, for a quite chat!

So it's just a quick boost from the lights that I need, might not even need a 380/400 bhp motor!
Just a fast spooling turbo?
As I find the wagon kicks in a bit late.
But the sti, foot down and she's gone!

Less is more if you want it to be quick off the lights, Hybrid TD04 (SC32) around the £400 mark exchange from Scooby Clinic. As the name suggests it will get you to ish 320bhp with the right supporting mods, which is probably somewhere in the region of what you're already running, add the Harvey up pipe and it should go like a scolded cat and not kill your gearbox either.
