It's all an hose and fittings, an fittings welded in the block and custom thermostat housing. The goal was to move the t-Stat to be more react ant to engine temp
A very expensive way to solve an issue that doesn't exist, plus you have not took the advantage to delete the balance breather port in the block to match your fitted heads, while rebuilding.

Wrong. As the stock crossover is known for leaking and the way the stick t-stat location is not as reactant to engine coolant temp. Glad to see there is haters!
Of course they can leak, but preventative maintenance see's the leak and a new crossover pipe is only a few £, takes two hours to do, gives you the chance of renewing coolant and t-stat if you want.
Seems a little pointless to be honest, but why slate somebody because he does something different, that's what gives forums bad names.
I run an aftermarket thermostat with a reversed coolant crossover pipe as I am running my 2004 sti engine in the back of a Volkswagen beach buggy.
The stock location stat is very slow at reacting to changing engine temps but still works very well in a scoob but due to my radiator being some distance from the engine I opted for the external stat.
Errrrrrr, because his first post was a sneaky attempt to sell something no-one needs?
Did I ever attempt to sell anything??? Was just sharing. I hope no one ever does this and yes I will be the only person to have it because I wanted to do it for myself as I like it. This will be my last post ever to scoobynet as I have learned this form is for trash talking. Thanks for all the hate!
