FMIC on 2.0 and 2.5 WRX - diff in lag?
Hi All,
i'm wondering if the same FMIC from a 2.0 WRX fitted to a 2.5 WRX with the same turbo have the same lag?
Does the larger displacement reduce the lag?
Cheers in advance for sharing your opinion and experience.

Hi Resh
On 2.5L I would say you will be fine like with TMIC or FMIC,on 2.5L you can throw any turbo and turbo will spool much better than on 2.0L,just don't expect will rev as 2.0L,2.5L I like due the torque, but if you like rev the engine, then 2.0L is better option,2.5L is bit lazier engine with lots of torque
And about the FMIC,I would suspect you will loose bit of spool or lag,but you will never notice that if its mapped correctly
Hope this helps and good luck
Thanks,Jura
