Default Large boot spoiler.... Help Help Help Help !!!!!!!!!!!!

Hi, I've recently purchased a large STI style boot spoiler for my 2002 bugeye WRX, I have had a spell in hospital so have only just got round to fitting it and when I did fit it I noticed that it would move a bit on the boot, I noticed that the skin of the boot the spoiler was bolted to was flexing and this was causing the spoiler to act as though it was loose, any ideas on how to fix this problem and is there anybody out there who as had the same problem, thanks from a very frustrated Subaru owner. Help Help Help !!!!!

You could fix it with Sika-Flex, it'll never come off again, though.

Is it genuine? How does it fix?

Are you sure it's a new age spoiler?, some classic spoilers fit but not properly because the new age boot isn't flat like a classic.

If you bought a genuine sti spoiler and fitted it to your wrx bootlid did you drill more holes as sti spoiler has out 10 fixing nuts

i assume not a genuine spoiler as he called it a "large STI style boot spoiler" ?

just use Butyl tape, that'll be enough to hold it down and also be able to remove it again!!
