Default EJ207 Version 9

Hiya Guys, I am having trouble trying to find the valve clearances for an EJ207 V9 is anyone able to point me in the right direction please?

I am also looking for a shed load of buckets, does anyone know of a cheap but reputable supplier?

Many thanks

Cam clearances are 0.2mm inlet, 0.35 exhaust, if your heads are not bolted to the block, it may well be better to remove the clearance you require from the valve tip if tight, easier than finding buckets, but if your stuck I do have quite a large selection, seeing as you are in Northants.

Thanks for your reply!!

This just gets worse and worse !! So far we have been given three totally different sets of clearances:-

inlet:.06-.08
Exhaust:.08 - .10

inlet: .08 - .10
Exhaust: .10 - .12

inlet: .10 - .15
Exhaust: .15 - .25

I'm at a total loss, our engine guy (whom we've now sacked off) set them at the inlet .08-10 exhaust .10-25 and said that we need 14 new buckets.

Are you in a position to measure them correctly and if you have them, provide the buckets required? If so, how long would this take, when are you able to do it and roughly what sort of cost?

best regards

Vicky

Just to add, we've now been without a car for over a year whilst our engine builder messed up our re-build and over £7k down the drain......we just want it to be right and on the road!!

Oh, heads are already on!!
