Default Help!!! Help me with my dump valve query.

Hi, I have recently fitted an aftermarket Dump Valve on my 2002 Subaru impreza wrx and have just watched a YouTube video and they say that because the air is not recirculated the engine will run rich on fuel mixture because it is putting new fuel in for the new air and over compensating for the air that isn't been recirculated, is this right and do I need a remap after fitting this dump valve, please help!!! a very worried wrx owner.

well the cars originally setup to recirc so it does that for a reason.. ive ran an aftermarket on mine with no problems atall if it did run rich i wouldnt imagine it would be that noticable i always use forge valves tho so that might of made a difference.
