Vibration whilst braking

Vibration whilst braking
Hi all,
I am having a small issue that whilst braking I am getting a lot of feedback through the steering wheel and a vibration of the cabin. I have had my brakes checked and recently had some new pads fitted, though the mechanic reckoned the discs were fine (He was not a "specialist" by any means). The tracking has also been checked within the last few months.
I notice it a lot more at low speeds, less than 15 mph.
Any thought?
Thanks,
8ulldog

It could be seized pistons in the calipers my car had the same symptoms even after replacing the discs, turned out nearly all the pistons had corroded & seized.
Got myself a pair of refurbished calipers from Godspeed

Thanks for the replies.
The reason it went in for a brake check was that whilst driving the Caliper appeared to seize on the front, drivers side wheel. After applying the brakes quickly it released. I initially thought Caliper though the local mechanic feels that it is acting as it should.
The brake pads were replaced as apparently the pad on the wheel in question had cracked, this caused the apparent seizure mentioned above. New pads have been placed on.
My thoughts at the moment are:-
Intermittent issue with Caliper.
Rubbish brake pads fitted (They were OEM spec from Subaru)
Disc has warped slightly (Can not see / feel any distortion)

It could be as simple as carbon deposits on the disc surface from keeping your foot on the brake when the pads are really hot, you'll need to go through the bedding in procedure maybe a couple of times to clean the discs.
Sticking pistons tend to pull the car to one side so if it's not doing that then it's more than likely a warped disc or carbon deposits.
