Default O2 sensor for a gc8 v6 CEL on!

Hi guys, after about a month of rough running and fault finding on my my00 uk impreza PPP i think ive found the fault at last... Well the car kinda told me

Been having rough running/jerkyness between 2-3krpm, changed intake hose cos of a suspected split, changed intake mani gaskets, all vac hoses, boost sol, mani pressure sensor, maf, knock sensor... Still the same, and getting worse.

Anyway i decided to connect the green and black connectors to do a check and it finaly threy a CEL indicating o2 sensor so i am getting excited at the thought of my car actually running right again now.

So, what i need to know is what o2 sensor to buy, as various threads ive seen are saying ore and post cat sensors, and others just saying one. I can only see one on my down pipe but all the heat shieliding could be hiding another on the headers.

Ive contacted an online seller, forwarded my vin and he says it only has one o2 sensor on my model (on the d pipe) with part numbers 22690-aa321 and 22690-aa320. Can anyone confirm this so i can get it ordered and give it a whirl.

Many thanks in advance, Aaron.

On my v6 it only had one on the downpipe, I have a good sensor in the shed if you want to buy it? I know new ones can be quite pricey.

Hi Aaron,

There is only one sensor on a GC8 and it is located in the downpipe directly after the turbo.
22690AA320 / 321 is the correct part number.

Only buy new Genuine Subaru, as the "Universal" ones tend not to last.

You have PM :-)

Hope this helps.
