re dumpvalve

I have a Subaru impreza wrx Ra 94. Running standard power. Is it safe to blank off the Dumpvalve. And will it cause a chatter sound?
Anyone know

Safe? Not completely...the d/v is there to stop turbo stall, if you continually stall it, you could damage the turbo.

It won't cause the same chatter as you hear on the rally cars, no.
