Gc8 air filter resonator removal
im looking into removing the air filter resonator box located just after the maf on my gc8? is the any specific pipe work that i need to use once removed? i take it removing it causes no issues? just a better spool up turbo noise maybe?

The resonator is in the wing... the airbox and filter are just after the maf then that connwcts to the resonator and little snorkle that comes back out of the wing. Removal just gives a little bit more induction noise and dump valve noise if using a recirc dv. As for power gains... someone on here didtests and lost a little bit after the resonator was removed...

i wonder what the loss in power was due to , i considered doing something with mine while the wing is off , thought about removing the snorkel and connecting a pipe direct to the orange vent in the bumper , i'll probably not do it because it seems to be there to stop water getting drawn in
