08 sti hatch knocking noise
Hi I've got an 08 sti hatchback and I've had a knocking noise coming from
The front passenger side it's when you going slow as you can't here it over
30mph but if your on uneven road you can here it and sometimes when turning but it's not a driveshaft as its a definite knock not the click of driveshaft I've had the car in the garage cannot find movement on any joints or any wheel movement I replaced the anti roll bar bushes as one looked worn it's not a suspension issue as I've just had new springs fitted and I don't want to just keep fitting parts till I find out stops it if possible and wondered if anybody else has had this problem ??? could it be a drop links ball joint what would be the favourite culprit if there is one on these 😡😡👍🏻

Check the drop links - I had to do mine, they were shot ! replace then with some Whiteline ones (Adjustable are the better), and some poly bushes (if you've not done that), make sure you tighten it up all.
I had the same sort of knock - this fixed mine (08 STi)

get some wd40 on the nuts and bolts a good few days before, and its easier to take the whole bar off to remove old and fit new ones.
I did the back ones too on mine as these were past their best too, did the bushes as well, and this sorted a whole load of squeaks and rattles and also stiffened up the rear really well.
