Hay guys messaged Subaru UK and they checked the engine codes, so found out its been swaped :/ they also found no matches its been swaped for an imported engine now I have found the ej205 raised stamp on the block so the gaskets look new I have no resits for any sort of rebuilds and woudnt think it would of been worth rebuilding if its not a closed or semi-closed can't find the hatching by the crank scensore so would I be correct in guessing its a semi-closed

It there any more ways of telling what it is

 

S20C will be cast on the block in several places to identify a Semi Closed Deck block.
