Run a 1999 impreza classic, any one out there know what software it runs? i would like to get a scanner to sort out any issues it may have as i prefer to do my own maintenance. Or can anyone recommend a scanner, cheers Paul

They have an OBD(I) socket under the dash. But, and IIRC, doesn't use OBD protocol. I think it's SSM (Subaru Select Monitor).

Don't know whether I've answered your queston?

If I'm wrong, someone will surely be along soon with the correct info...
