install JDM engine in 02 USA sped WRX
why does one cam gear and the crank pulley need to be swapped to install a JDM 2.0 engine into a USA spec 2002 WRX? Whats different about the JDM gears vs the USA spec pieces ????

Not sure,but depends
JDM WRX engine have AVCS and as JDM STI engine have AVCS and due this you will need to run JDM ECU which shouldn't be problem as they can be found over on eBay,if you don't want to run AVCS then this can be more complicated,not sure is USDM 2.0L or 2.5L?
