Induction kit for 2009 wrx sti 330s
Looking to get an induction kit for my scooby
What are people's thoughts and which brand should I go for
I've seen them for anywhere £180-400
Are they really much different and does any one know the best place to et one for price

Subaru engine doesn't like induction kits, unless a) mapped for it and b) running MAF-less.
Otherwise you run the risk of MAF damage, and that leads to fuelling issues, usually UNDER-fuelling, which leads to det...which is fatal.
The Scoob engine does well on a decent panel filter right up to 400bhp.

The previous gentleman's message rings true. How ever you won't get the cool suction noises ended by a nice dump valve chirp. Certainly adds the enjoyment. Get a good k and n kit for about 150 then get it mapped straight away.

Keep the panel. if anything get a new one or clean it. If you're aiming for 400bup plus then go induction but then you'll need front mount intercooler.
I'll get flamed for saying this but I had a saloon wrx sti 2010 with 350bhp. Had launch control and throttle blip courtesy of jolly green monster (RIP) it was a 0-62 in 4.5 seconds car. It didn't need to be any quicker.
I loved it and miss it dearly

I currently have a k&n panel
Filter
Just had forged pistons and bearings . New crank and rods
3inch decat and 2.5 inch pro drive exhaust system
the mappers think that 380 is acheivable maybe more with an induction kit
I think I will get one may as well .
Can anyone link me to any for sub £200ish?

whats peoples thoughts on this?
Pipework and sheild is going to be as good as any induction kit.
i guess the actual filter head may differ, but how much do we recon?
