Default Direct air feed?

I have a 1994 wrx. I have the resonator removed in the front wing and an air scoop/vent on the wing. Would it be beneficial to have an air feed from this vent straight to the air box or just let it take in air from the vent and air within the wheel Arch.

I wasn't sure if force feeding air giving it more than it needs would cause more harm than good?

Have you got a picture of the vent style and position?

mine just draws air from within the wing as yours does. not had any issues. Have you blocked all other holes in wing/engine bay panel

Here's a photo of the outside so air fills the inner wing. I've blocked off other holes. Worth putting a feed between this hole and the air box?
