was looking to buy these

If it's the same as the MY11 cars the speakers are fine but it's the standard head unit that lets them down...

Yes imo Subaru do a pioneer upgrade at a grand for a 500 quid pioneer head unit if u can afford it and have an I phone get an apple car play pioneer there cool

Well I got mine with the Subaru supplied Pioneer SatNav as an option and whilst the radio is poor in terms of reception the audio quality is excellent through the standard speakers. Although it helped using the auto EQ feature to tune the head units output to the car.

I'd suggest doing a head unit upgrade and then go for speakers if you're still not happy, but I suppose it all depends on how much you want to spend and how quickly...
