Thinking the steering rack (quick rack) on my 1997 Type R could do with a rebuild/refurb, its leaking power steering fluid from the CV boots and knocks more than it should when on full lock... Can anyone give any idea of what needs replacing, work involved and cost? Cheers

There are repair kits available from subaru.

Have a look at the diagrams

Especially diagram #2 shows you the kit, with the Subaru part number list.
