Default injectors and fuel pump foe 420-450bhp

Soon to be the proud owner of an SC42 and after a bit of searching people seem to be using all kinds of injectors ranging from 665s up to 2000!!

What would people recommend for the kind of figures I am after.

Thanks

Tom

What car is it going on and what other supporting mods?

Who's mapping your car?

The mapper will prob give you the best answer as they've all had problems with certain brands and all have a favourite.

Deutchworls are also proving very popular at the moment.

Best off speaking to Duncan and seeing what he suggests.

As for the fuel pump I'd recommend the rcm one. You can but through advanced automotives on eBay. Probably the cheapest out there with their own deserved recognition.

Hi there

Personally I would go with 650cc injectors which should support 420-450bhp,650cc injectors which you can buy are Power Enterprise

Second option is go with ID1000's which are bit more expensive, but cheaper than ASNU,we run them on our wagon, idle is bit higher(idle sits at 1000RPM),but spray pattern is probably best

Third option is go with DW(Deatschwerks),but those injectors have "rave" reviews from mappers and some mappers doesn't like them as ID's

Last option is you can source reflowed WRX injectors which can be reflowed up to 750-800cc and with those injectors you should be bale run bit more bhp,we run them on our wagon at 490bhp plus NOS.Just I would be careful with them,we are have few issues with them, mainly with poor idle and mapper spend few times tweaking them, but still they're been poor, some people run them without the issue and some have with them issue, really depends...

I would speak with ZEN Performance, they're selling good range of aftermarket injectors

There are few more options, like you can buy Bosch EV14 which are in principle ID1000(ID are based on EV14 as DW,difference they're matched to different spec),they can be cheaper or you can have look on FiC(Fuel Injector Clinic),those injectors are popular in US where people rate them highly

But mainly I would go with injectors which yours mapper will suggest you,he will be mapping them and if he don't like them or don't know how to get best of them, then you are where are you now

Hope this helps

Thanks,Jura
