Default Buying a sports cat, will a newage fit a classic?

New to the forum! Buying a sports cat for my 2001 impreza sport classic, the price of the sports cat for it is rather high but the same make for a bug/blobeye is a lot cheaper, would it fit my car? they look near enough identical.

i can't tell you about the sport models but on the WRX/STI the length of the pipe is different between classic and newage. Doesn't look much as it's only about 1.5" or so, if its the same with sports then you might end up needing an adapter made up to make up the difference, by the time you do that and fart about with extra gaskets you may end up having spent more than the correct length pipe would have cost you.
