Default what air filter and dump valve with frontmount?

As title says, just bought a front mount so I'm unsure as to what dump valve I need to buy now and what to do regarding a induction kit. Any ideas?

Thanks!

First question is what type of front mount?

If it's a perrin mate it with a perrin intake. They have the oe recirc bracket in place to use

If it's a cheapish one then you will struggle to mount it

Before I bought the perrin I had an hdi and had to use an rcm intake and forge bov

Hey, thanks for the replys, cars about 350 just now, don't really have a limit just keep going I guess? Its only a toy really. Its the japspeed one that folk have got on the group buy from here, found a chap who's running a turbo smart boy and just a universal k&n so think that could be the plan.....

Hi there

This depends on power what are you looking to run,but personally I would go with RCM induction kit and dump valve, depends on turbo too, some turbo can be used without the DV and some must be run on DV

Best DV is OE recirc or any good recirc like Forge which has been proven on numerous cars, but as above depends on turbo etc

Thanks,Jura

I would hold fitting the front mount until your ready for a bigger turbo and big power as you will just be inducing turbo lag and will have to keep paying out for map tweaks. I had the japspeed kit on mine, ive since upgraded the core but im still using the japspeed pipework. There is a 30mm take off for a dump valve and after lots of searching its almost imposible to source an adapter to mount the oem valve as nobody seems to make them any more. U can use any universal aftermarket 25mm dump or recirc valve, I ran with no dump valve for a while but the turbo flutter is way to loud and soon got annoying. Im running a forge recirc valve now and all is good. Im also running an rcm induction kit and it fits in fine with the front mount pipework. Hope this helps
