Starting problem
#2
hi the clicking u hear can sometimes happen if the battery is a bit low, id check the health of your battery get a tester or just pop to Halfords so this is ruled out. if all ok then yes could well be a sticking starter. failing this it may be ecu related? or alarm imobillizer. start wth simple things first as its often the less expensive !! as I have learned. or to put it in short starter motor isn't engaging due to poor motor gear or the battery is to low to engage it.
good luck , steve

Check the earth cable on the gearbox and the cables from the battery to the starter motor, check . not only tightness, but also remove any corrosion at there points.
