Default electronic boost controler

Merry Christmas every one. Just fitted a r spec electronic boost controler to my terzo. Do I need to disconnect all the pipes and wiring loom connectors that go to the standard controler and map sensor.

Leave the wires connected so it doesnt bring on the cel but block the pipe that goes to it. A bolt usually blocks it nicely.
