Get emailing these people, follow up with a phone call, then visit them all and make your decision.

I took the above advice a few years back and I couldn't be happier with choosing enginetuner. They're only a five hour drive away from me.

I am thinking of buying a 2007 Hawkeye STI with an already rebuild EJ257 done by Graham Sweet from GT Motorsports. The engine got rebuild with several parts from Roger Clark Motorsport. Could someone tell me about selfmade experiences with this engine builder? I just read that he is a well known engine builder for rallye cars.

My first intention was to buy a late JDM Blobeye STI or early JDM Hawkeye STI but nobody can also guarantee me, that a higher mileaged (50.000) twinscroll EJ207 won't need a rebuild soon. For a Daily Driver maybe a mint conditioned forged EJ257 could be the better choose.

Is anyone going to answer the original question on post 22 which is the reason this old thread was dug out?
