Default Underseal for under car coverage ??

Hey peeps, been posting alot here recently. Been working alot on my 03 wrx. I need a good quality sealant to apply to the majority of my underneath, around suspension, brake pipes, wishbones etc. I noticed some rust and corrosion whilst working in the last few days so instead of completely stripping back down to bare metal and starting fresh, is there a GOOD QUALITY under sealant i could apply to keep it protected and not get any worse?? Something to go a little trigger happy with. Cheers bods.

Look at the Bilt & Hamber treatments they are very good and easy to use.

A lot of things need to be cleaned properly (at least steamed ideally back to bare metal) before being applied.

Dinitrol and Bilt Hambler are the only companies I trust with this stuff. Things like waxoyl and other makes are nowhere near as good IMO. Problem is just spraying something over the old stuff, dirt and corrosion is never good. You will trap lots of **** under there including moisture.

A good under car wax from either company will cover well and should displace moisture, wick into old stuff and protect form the elements as best as possible.

Thanks for the responses guys, I totally understand that I need to strip the crap off first, i could do the majority of the top rust and corrosion with just a trolly jack and axel stands, but i havant the equipment to go WHOLE HOG on her. Iv looked into dinitrol and found great reviews on their products. So you think if I spent a whole day sanding back what i can reach, wiping down with methylated spirits, and applying the undercoat. That should be moderately good enough at the moment???

Will certainly help. Just make sure that you pick a product for under the car and not a cavity wax (unless you are using it on a cavity of course). They make different products for each application.
