Hi peeps
I have a my00 subaru impreza turbo 2000
this morning I drove it in the ice and it feels like the back end not connected
almost like it has 4 wheel steering
I no when I 1st had it I had to put a ns rear hub on it as main bolt had worn the holes oval
When I look at car seems like the rear wheel is leanin in
it was almost like it was crabbing

Could have just been very slippery, but if you can visually see that the geometry isn't right I'd get it checked out by a professional.

How long have you had the car? Did you notice anything like this before?
It could be as simple as tire pressures or weather conditions, but if your car has wear in the hubs and linkages it would be best to get it looked at as soon as you can.

To start with, what tyres do you have on the car?
Does the car do the same in the wet?
Does the car do the same in the dry?

Lets start there....

Are your tyres matched
I had a pair of snow tyres on front and was driving 2 miles to get the other pair and spun at 5mph pulling out of T junction.
Didn't hit anything, just left laughing my head off

Car is perfect in dry and fine in rain.
I am running continentals.
2 months old all good tyres and matching.
I have had car 2 years but only really drove it this year
noticed it before on my standard 16 inch alloys.
Its just weird how it felt like there is no grip
but like I said.
I changed nsr complete hub and poly bushed the ns arms, aint
got round to other side
I thought it mite be that
but I have noticed when ever I hit a pot hole or bump its like the back end
jumps towards the drivers side.
have noticed my nsr wheel is not as cambered as the osr
I didnt realise they were on camber bolts
when hub was changed
