Default Engine builders advice needed on head cracks

I have a set of heads with 2 cracks in 1 of the spark plug seats.
I've done some research and there seems to be some differing of opinions so just need some clarity.
Are they ok to use or are they shot and only good for spares?

Got them up for sale at the moment but should I adjust the price?
Currently at £200
Any advice gratefully received,thanks.

My usual rule of thumb on cracks like those is, if you can see its cracked up 4 threads, when you apply crack detecting dye etc, it will be 6 threads, I will not use them on a fresh build.

Ok,thanks for the info....would it be worth putting the cams, valves springs ect into another set of v5 head cases?as I'm led to believe that all v5 head cases are the same.

Yes you can do that, the bare castings are the same, but finding non cracked ones might be difficult.
