Default Prodrive Backboxes

Hey, are there different types of Prodrive Backboxes?

I don't mean different fitments like, classic, blob, etc, but different flow and noise levels.

I have a 2005 PPP WRX and the prodrive exhaust on it has what looks like a angled baffle inside it, I'm sure I've seen other Backboxes that look more like a straight though.

I hope this makes sense

A previous owner butchered the Prodrive box on my 03 STi, here's what I assume they're all like:

Thanks for the quick replies, and the link. That's what mine looks like the baffle pipe is at an angle inside the resonator box.

Scotty, I guess you mean the actual box not the tail piece. If so that probably will explain it. I think the other ones I've seen might be from an earlier classic and now you mention it I think the whole thing was a different shape.

Well mines round says Prodrive on top. So bearing in mind its nearly 10 years old , If its hanging down I would say you have a loose baffle. If you do you need to get it sorted as it will slow down the exhaust gas.
