Default Dash Command Data Logging

Ive been using dash command for a while now as its a great inexpensive way to keep any eye on crucial engine parameters ie intake temps, afr, ignition timing and such. Its also great for basic data logging and can easily send log files from phone to pc for a closer examination and real time playback via streaming data or and analouge/digital gauges.

One thing it wasnt very good at was estimating true bhp and torque figures. even after entering detailed car specs, however after lots of messing with a few correctional settings i managed to get it to read very close to what the car actually made at the last mapping session. Now after my latest round of mods and map tweak dash command is now out of sync again.

Previous dash command estimate 381/352
Previous Rolling road Figures 380/330

Latest dash command estimate 458/520
Latest rolling Road Figures 429/363

The torque figures are now miles out, Has anybody managed to find any settings for dash command to get it to read the power and torque any closer than i have ???

Ps...I recorded my peak mpg and fuel flow statistics whilst out setting my avcr up earlier, it dropped to 1.3 mpg and peaked at 34.1 gal/h

It's a great wee piece of kit for the money, I've been using my for several weeks now.

I end up generating a excel doc to scan through and check all my reading to make sure nothing nasty is happening. Spot on so far.

Just get some software that makes it easier to interpert!

Some nice number you have there!
