Default Cold weather issue?

This morning was the first time this year that I have had to scrape ice off my car.

The issue I am having is the gearbox has now got very notchy. It was fine yesterday and had subset change the box oil in September. It's a 2010 wrxs with 30k

it was absolutely fine yesterday, really smooth. Now it just feels like I'm having to force it more.

anyone else get this?

My journey to work is about 15 miles of town and motorway so it should have heated the box up by then

Sounds more like the clutch isn't clearing fully?

Only started this morning and the only variable is the weather being very cold this morning.

It's not like it won't go in gear, just feels more notchy than yesterday will see what's it's like when I drive home.

is there a better gearbox oil to use? Subaru changed it a few months ago but no idea what they use or if there is better fluid.

My classic is also terrible when it's cold - difficult gear change and a juddering clutch. It takes a few miles to warm up and then is fine.
