Default Intermittent indicators

Indicators stopped working about 2 years ago for drivers side (complete side), didn't worry too much as it was a track only car. Now trying to sort for MOT. Earlier fitted new bulbs and they worked again, both sides and hazards worked. Drove into garage changed rims over and tried again and they'd stopped. Left side you can hear relay click, lights up on dash and at all 3 bulbs, right side you can hear relay click but no light on dash or at any bulb.

Any ideas?

Thanks

Bad earth somewhere maybe? The same relay operates both sides so if one side is working and the other is not then the fault must lie with the stalk or the wiring after the relay.

Got sorted the wiring loom had been rubbed through in the drivers side wheel arch under hard cornering stripping the insulation off the indicators shorting it together
