MAF sensor reading correctly now SCOSaltire? That has to be the number one suspect if it was dodgy before. Cleaning is often temporary.

Has anybody fitted one of these hesitation cure kits. According to the site & previous users there the Bee Knees. See link below for further Info

I am sceptical about the safety of desensitising the knock sensor - I have not seen any evidence that ignition retard is the cause of hesitations. On MY00 they can be improved by fitting a MY99 ECU or a Tek 1.

mine is hesitating more...

was looked over yesterday.. and mechanically got a clean bill of health..

next thing to look at is perhaps a HT lead..
