I just bought one of these from Scoobyclinic for £29.99!


I'm chuffed with the buy, i was after some engine bay bling, but I'm wondering, do these actually make a difference in cooling?

 

Not that I have noticed on mine, although that it is on the standard dash temp gauge

 

useless luckily i managed to sell mine on to a tool

 

also isnt this a question to ask prior to purchase?

 

 

Yep, would be, if I was thinking about buying it for some sort of performance gain. Bought it for a bit of bling, but if it made any sort gain, that would be a nice little brucie bonus :-)

 

surely it keeps the heat in? or does it direct more air downward across the rad?

I don't think they will make any difference in therm of cooling if you are running stock radiator and stock thermostat,some claims 15% better cooling/efficiency of the radiator

But deffo will looks good there
