they should generally clear the brembo but it will depend mainly on the spoke design, but as a general rule they will stick out a fair bit and at a guess after seeing some xxr with et 30 on a hawk a while ago there where just sticking out from the rear arch(widetrack) and depending how low your car is will rub, personally i would steer clear of a 30 et ,35 max but may still get rubbing issues with 235 tyre depend on dish

Hi there

Depends as above design and spoke, but we run on our wagon 255/40R17 with 9X17 ET28 without the issue, yes we are raised ride height bit at rear mostly, but with right camber at front and rear you shouldn't have any issue, assume you are running coilovers,if yes then you will need raise ride height at rear,if you don't want have issue with rubbing and add more camber preferably at front and rear

What tyres are you thinking to run?

Thanks,Jura

Why would you want to put silly stance wheels with stretched tyres on a spec c??

I don't know how the ET with wheels work, and 235/40 is a slight stretch.

Hi there

9JX18 ET30 with 235/40(but still I would say best tyre will be 245/40 or even 255/40) will have little stretch as you are said and I would suspect they should fit nicely without the issue,if those wheels will clear Brembo, yes they should clear Brembo,if not 5mm spacer at front maybe will be needed

Those wheels looks awesome and I think those wheels looks like bit Works wheels, which I think have fitted Simon@JGM on his green classic

Thanks,Jura

235 Vredestein on 9.75 rims and they are far from hanging on for grim death ,tyre stretch all varies on the brand , Vredestein i would say come slighty over sized as compared to falkens etc

Hi there

I think those wheels will looks odd on yours on standard suspension

For best look you want to run Coilovers with camber bolts at front and rear

Thanks,Jura

Think I'll wait until I've got a few others sorted then go wheels and coilovers.

I've got a set of ultralite g grids coming new week 18x8 ET49 which I'm hoping will sit nice

You will see,as always I recommend get coilovers with camber bolts if you are thinking to run wide wheels with wide tyres

Ultalite will looks good on yours and depends on the colour, they should suits yours car, black doesn't look good on the WR blue,we are have on our wagon only Bronze or Hyper Black which has looks awesome on WR Blue,if you don't mind cleaning then White will looks just awesome there

Thanks,Jura

Thanks Jura for taking time to help and advise me much appreciated!

They are dark grey.

I will go coilovers but unsure which brand as it will be mainly a road car with kids.
