Plenty of people have done it

No it's not legal but so are many other things that bring enjoyment in life

Should really be mapped to suit the car and to achieve best possible gains

I decated my first none turbo Impreza and made a massive difference, my current Impreza turbo has a 100 cell cat on which is as good as decat, as soon as fitted noticed alot more smoother delivery, and increase in power, but it really needs a remap.

I'd recommend 3" 100 cell sports cat

Probably because it's the law a sports cat is just that, a cat.

A decat does what it says on the tin which ain't legal.

I have De cat on mine but there are 2. They removed the front one giving the desired more power yet the back one is in still allowing the correct inmesions to pass an Mot with flying colours. Hope this helps
