Bad misfire 1994 WRX
Hi guys,
My car has a really bad misfire. Always seems to be around 5k to 5500 rpm. Have replaced the plugs with properly gapped items as well as the coil packs but no joy. I tried to get a video of it earlier:

It doesn't just miss, it pops quite loudly.
Has anyone got any suggestions? It had a EBC which I removed to try and eliminate the problem. It also has some kind of piggyback ECU:

I wouldn't mind removing this to try and return it to standard for now, but if I unplug it, it won't start.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

With a bit of googling I found this:
http://www.ebay.co.uk/gds/How-to-rea...2365952/g.html
And it brings up code 33: Vehicle Speed Sensor, however my speedo is functioning fine. I've had a drink so can't take the car out and reset it but will do tomorrow. Does this sound like a fault related to that?
