Default cluster gauge test problems..

Hi there folks I'm new to the scooby scene.. I have just purchased a 2004 sti type uk 265 bhp. . I've been watching videos on the internet and it seems that when you start your car it performs a dial test of your mph rev counter etc.. anyway my car doesn't do it and im wondering is that normal or how do you make it do it.. it looks pretty cool lol

Not sure the 2004 models did so?

Someone who knows should be along in a minute.

Post a picture of your clocks and we can have a look, sounds like you have the earlier ones which wouldn't do the sweep which is perfectly normal.

You can buy the other clocks which are practically plug an play maybe need to change a couple wires but should be easy enough.

Im assuming you have blue dials. Defi style dials are only on the JDM blob's and the WR1. something you cant program in either im afraid. But the defi style ones are plug and play if you want to purchase a set
