Default HKS type 1 Turbo Timer help

I'm looking to buy the HKS type 1 turbo timer for my 98 Version 4 STI but can anyone tell me if it will be compatible for my car and will i still be able to install an alarm on my car after? Thanks.

Depends what way the alarm is protecting the car. If it's cuts the fuel pump circuit then the turbo timer won't work.

Honestly, turbo timers are a waste of time and money plus they invalidate your insurance (in the UK).

Don't waste your money just drive off boost for the last couple of mile and switch off as normal sitting there letting your car idle is just getting it warmer not cooler

I know it's not really much beneficial but I've already got one off a mate and all I will be doing is replacing the old rubbish one I already have on the car.
But on the plus side the hks tt has a digital mph gauge so I can use that as my car reads in kph
