Well changed the upper bit of the speedo cable today and still no joy so undone the connection near the gearbox rolled car forward and the lower part is not turning so wonder if that's what broke the top bit anyway tried to undo the bottom but from gearbox and it just snapped so ha anybody got an idea how to get it out now so I can change the lower part?

It's a version 3 type r.

I did mine on a ramp in work, it's a royal pain doing it from the top.

 

Your not wrong mate tring to get plastic out so I can remove the cable but nightmare as it's just snapped in
