Looking an an Exedy Hyper twin (5speed), will this bolt up and replace my 6 speed like for like?

I thought the 6 speed flywheel was larger than the 5 speed so I'm not sure how this works.

I've also read that the slave cylinder needs modifying? Can anyone confirm

Thanks again, you seem to be answering most of my questions these days.

Will I need to fit a 5 speed starter due to the smaller flywheel? Does the 6 speed box take a 5 speed starter?

It can be done,i have seen it done both ways vice versa 6-5 or 5-6 .SJ.

Hi there

As per posted link to above thread you will be able to fit Exedy Twin Plate to 6 speed without the problem,I think you will be OK with 6 speed starter too and I'm not sure if 6sp can take 5sp starter

I would speak with Alyn@AS Performance if you want to be 100% sure,but I know as above Adrian@SJ said,they can be used on both like on 5sp/6sp
