Default Short block crank saddle damage

Purchased an ej207 short block off ebay, was looking fine until i got to taking the main bearings off, this looks like a real bummer. Can anyone say if this can be machined or is this block done ?

Line bore/hone might be your answer for that.

Are the old main bearings loose in the saddle or still a good fit on the locating tabs ?
IMHO,if the bearings have spun in the saddles and the saddles are scored and worn, then the crankcases are scrap.

All of the other saddles and cylinders are in perfect condition, this is one was a real heartbreak when i took the bearing off, i'd understand if it was just some scoring from the spinning, but this dent doesn't look too good.

The bearing still sits in fine, the saddle is definitely not distorted.
