Default double de cat classic

quick questions;

with the two cats taken off does anyone get issues come mot time?

is it always best keeping the bell mouth cat in terms of back pressure ie with just a backbox only does this cause any problems?

my centre and back box is 2 2/2" inch diameter.

cheers.

answer to first question, full decat won't get you through an MOT, to keep it MOT friendly you either need to retain the stock downpipe or get a sports cat.

Of course you can fully decat and then swap your downpipes over at MOT time, but that's a bit of a ballache.. if you know a friendly MOT tester on the other hand..

Theres a number of sport cats out there, Cobra, H&S, Tornado, Ninja..

It's best for performance to remove both. But a remap will be needed to get the benefit.

Removing both will fail the MOT unless you use a tester who is willing to break the law to get it through. Putting the center cat back in usually gets it through an MOT.
