Hi I'm having an issue solving my no check engine illumination. I've tried changing bulbs, doesn't seem to have its own bulb? Pulled the no 5 fuse in engine bay to no avail. I just had my car mapped and it was showing a bad front lambda. I replaced that with new denso one. Had the sports cat cel fixed by remap. It comes up on the mappers laptop just not on my dash? Weird.

 

Sounds like it's been tampered with by a previous owner/trader! Do a search on here and it will bring all sorts of threads regarding this!

 

I couldn't find any threads on this subject. I did search first. Surely if it's been tampered with. It would be a bulb out ?

 

All sorted out. Previous owner taped behind dash needles to blank off cel from sports cat. All sorted now as they come on then go off. There are some muppets out there.
