Default SWRD fuel pump help please?

I am just in the middle of fitting my new pump to my 03 sti UK spec , and in everything I have read it says to use the old gauze as it's much bigger and won't give pick up issues, but if I but this on the pump it's ever so slightly loose around the plastic that connects to the pump, will this be a problem or should I just use the one it came with. Thanks

Just had a look and they are totally different can't fit the spring clip that came with SWRD one, the inlet hole size on the SWRD is ever so slightly smaller but enough to make a difference. I will try upload the pictures I have just taken.

Yeah get some pics of it and also the pump you removed. Should just be a straight swap.

So did you use the filter that the pump came with? My only concern is it might try and such fuel in though the area around the plastic?
