I can no longer stand the damn noise from the exhaust. Its a prodrive back box on a type r and it just seems to resonate through the boot and rear quarters.

My question is this. Would a 4 door with the exact same spec be better at reducing noise from the exhaust than a 2 door shell where the rear quarters pass through to the cabin.

Im not talking about sound deading either oem or retro fitted, just the design of the car affecting the noise?
