Default PROBLEM

Hello, I have just replaced my timing belt and all the idlers. I put the timing marks as it should be.I have started the car and the engine warning light coming on and the car doesn't boost and it cuts out at 4000 rpm. I have also replaced the spark plugs as well. Can you please give me any ideas what might be??should i strip it down again?? Thank you

If it started and idles ok I would think you have the timing fine, it wouldn't flag up a check engine light anyway. Have you plugged the maf back in properly? The CEL will come on for electrical issues not mechanical, so look at anything you may of disturbed doing the work.
