Default Fuel Pump Question

Hi,
Does anyone know if the 2005 JDM STI has an updated fuel pump like the Spec-C does?

I'm getting conflicting information and would like someone to hopefully help clear this up.

If it doesn't have an uprated fuel pump, which would be a good bet that's fairly priced?

ASP Trading sell the Walbro 255 for £70 which is a good price.
Am slightly worried though as recently heard a spate of these pumps failing...

RCM = £115 - Stage 2 pump

Deutschwerks (Scoobyworld) = £130 - http://www.scoobyworld.co.uk/catalog...oducts_id=2030

If it doesnt have one then these are an option, im running one in my 06 sti without issue. Just reuse your existing filter bag (same with all aftermarket pumps)

Hi,
Is yours mapped? If so what power are you running and how long have you had this pump?
Thanks

Brilliant, that's good to know. I wonder why more people don't speak of them. During my research it was all "stay away from Walbro as there are too many fakes about", RCM S2 or Deutschwerks.
The pump you have mentioned is so much friendlier price wise also.

Hrc is another alternative also. Plenty on here running both. I also had a dynapex pump in my old classic, its a US brand

Have seen them advertised also. I'm gearing towards buying the Walbro from ASP as he told me they're supplied direct from Walbro, which should hopefully eliminate the possibility of them being fake. Saying that I'd really like to try deutchwerks one, but at twice the price it'll probably stay on the shelf this time.
